Hi all,

I am drafting a master cleaning schedule / plan for our BRC project. The environment is generally closed processes and low risk products (concentrated flavours and blends). I was thinking for each building / area listing cleaning frequency and method for floors, walls, ceilings, overheads (we have a lot of ducting and pipework needing specialist high level cleaning), mixing vessels internal (after each batch), external (as needed?)...

Is this on the right track? What else should I be thinking about?

Is the internal cleaning of the vessels conducted by contractors?

I tend to put everything and anything that has to do with cleaning on the schedule. After all, it is the master cleaning schedule. It is then printed after utilising the filters so it can be printed for each area. Meaning the Production Area won't also get a print out of the Distribution Area and so forth.

I've added contracted work on the Master Cleaning Schedule. If it's on the schedule, it is less likely to be forgotten.

I have also developed a peasey easy Annual Planner printed for all to see. It's a fresh print each year and states specifically whom needs to be called in for contracted cleaning / maintenance / etc. I found this easier for the production team when the office staff looked after the appointment / booking side of things!

Can I also suggest: make it simple. The less amount of words, the more likely the schedule will be followed and respected. Attached to the Excel Cleaning Schedule is also:

The master cleaning schedule will include all between batches, daily, weekly, monthly etc types of cleaning.

I remember when I conducted my first schedule some ten years back. It was frightfully overwhelming... it's easy now...

I've got everything on there apart from the vessel interiors, which are cleaned after every batch (I had those on originally but took them off as the rest is plant / building but I will put them back on).

Cleaning is done by operator / cleaner / contractor depending on the job and as it is in Excel it is easy to sort as you suggest but for now I have it ordered by frequency of cleaning to think about logical steps e.g. wet clean walls, windows, window sills every 6 months but plan that after a daily floor sweep and finish with the weekly floor wet clean.

Just looking over what you prescribed for a master cleaning schedule, what do you use for tracking purposes to ensure it is being done? Our master cleaning schedule lists each area, how often it is cleaned, reference to Sanitation B.O.P and space to record each time it is cleaned. Our master cleaning schedule does not include daily requirements as it has its own daily listing being completed.

I just go back my large silk oriental rug and prayer rug and am literally amazed at how wonderful they look and what a great job master cleaners did in cleaning and repairing these 2 rugs. I have had them cleaned by so called experts in the past and they were never done as well as master cleaners I highly recommend them especially for difficult to clean silk orientals!!

One other thing, yes warm water will help remove even regular oil paint, but first getting as much off as you can with towels or even using the knife to scrap off excess is a good option. Any amount of water brought to the soap will help get it going, but really it is not much more effective than just using a bar of fels naptha or any white bar soap really. They are cheap to make and perform very admirably compared to the masters brush cleaner.

What is Groutmaster? it is the premier tile & grout cleaner that rarely needs prescrubbing. Mix 1-2 scoops, 1-4 oz in a gallon hot water. Spray it down, wait 5-10 mins and run your spinner over it. Cuts greasy filthy grout like nothing else and doesn't harm stainless steel appliances, transitions and cabinets. (Still wipe down any overspray of course).

Firstly because the masters have entries that are identical to the same records in Skyrim.esm or other DLC esms'. They exist because Bethesda may have looked at something in the CK and an unneeded entry was auto included in the plugin even though the item was not altered in any way. The Official Creation Kits are notoriously buggy and randomly create dirty / wild edits, often when the author of the plugin is completely unaware. Wherever that plugin is placed in your load order its records overwrite all the conflicting records from plugins loaded before it ( the rule of one ) resetting the settings back to the values contained in the Official Bethesda DLC. It won't cause crashes, it just changes the values of plugins loaded before it. Which can alter mods that you have for Weapon Damage, Armor, Lighting, Food Effects and so on. The masters are very early in your load order but there is potential for a mod to be made as a fake.esm, and placed among them, and so ITMs in a later loading master may cause problems for that mods esm. Chance is remote that a master will affect another master, and this procedure is best used on all of your mods plugins, but cleaning everything of ITMs ( Identical to Master records ) causes no harm, is more optimal giving the game less to process in your load order, and so it is best to get rid of these completely unnecessary dirty edits.

xEdit will also report when a mod has Deleted NavMeshes as part of the report from Automatic cleaning. Like deleted references, any mod that references a deleted NavMesh will cause Skyrim to Crash. Properly optimizing your mods NavMeshes and checking your mod for Deleted Vanilla NavMeshes ( which can also be caused by a CK wild edit even if you did not do it yourself ) is important. Mods altering the same cell and the same NavMeshes when your mod is not optimized will cause Skyrim to Crash. Poorly optimized NavMeshes with errors reported by the CK will make Skyrim unstable. Instabilities like fast travelling to a location and Skyrim crashes. Note the ones found to be deleted in the games masters, cannot be undeleted.
