The MASSIVE workshop invites submissions on Complex Systems Modeling and Simulation, with a focus on Multi-Agent Systems, Machine Learning, Agentic AI, Digital Twins, and Complex Networks. We seek contributions that advance both the foundations and applications of intelligent systems—ranging from theoretical models and formal methods to experimental studies and real-world deployments. We particularly encourage research that bridges the gap between theory and practice, such as new formalisms grounded in empirical evidence or applied systems informed by robust theoretical frameworks.

Visionary papers (white papers)
Appraisal papers of existing methods and tools (e.g., lessons learned)
Applied or industry case studies.
Format
Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.
The maximum length of the papers is 12 pages, including figures and references:
Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion in the Workshop Proceedings volume, published within the Springer CCIS series.
Publication is subject to meeting the publisher's quality standards.
Registration
At least one author of each accepted paper will be required to register to the host conference through the host conference registration system.
Submission
All proposed papers must be submitted in electronic form (PDF format) using the PAAMS conference management system, click below:
