Intelligent systems today operate across a wide variety of complex, distributed, and dynamic environments. They support scientific discovery, enable complex simulations, coordinate autonomous entities, enhance decision-making, and model dynamic processes. Agent-Based Modeling and Simulation (ABMS), combined with modern machine learning and Agentic AI, provide a powerful unified framework for studying such systems — from social dynamics and financial markets to logistics, cybersecurity, industrial processes, healthcare, and decentralized platforms. The convergence of Multi-Agent Systems, simulation science, learning-enabled digital twins, and LLM-driven autonomous agents is opening a new generation of intelligent simulation environments, where agents do not merely follow rules but reason, learn, and adapt in response to complex real-world conditions.
MASSIVE 2026 welcomes contributions that advance the foundations and application of intelligent systems, from theoretical models and formal methods to experimental studies, computational models, and real-world deployments. We particularly encourage work that bridges the gap between theory and practice: papers that propose new formalisms grounded in empirical evidence, as well as applied systems informed by solid theoretical models.
MASSIVE 2026 is co-located with PAAMS 2026, the 24th International Conference on Practical applications of Agents and Multi-Agent Systems international conference, a HYBRID conference.
