About Us

Welcome everybody to Massive Arms. The name is Carl Massey, owner and operator of Massive Arms. Massive Arms is a small business based in the Canyon area of the Mid-Willamette Valley in Oregon, all part of the larger PNW. Let me tell you about myself. I am someone who enjoys a personal, professional touch when it comes to business and that is what I like to offer my customers. I came into this line of work in part because I myself am an enthusiast, and I also have had experience in armed security work. I received my education from SDI, Sonoran Desert Institute, having completed my certificate in gunsmithing. I have apprenticed and spent time learning the gunsmithing craft hands on with my father-in-law & retired Gunsmith Jim Dale Korkow. I also have had time to work with several other senior woodworkers, metal workers, and gunsmiths. The goal is to have a family business that helps carry on the skills for generations to come. Networking with other local gunsmiths and attending current events in the industry are some of the ways Massive Arms stays current in the market. Firearms are one of many kinds of tools that can be necessary for some situations and all tools, especially those we might rely upon for survival, need maintenance and care.
