Research

My recent works have been focused on the analysis of the transport and topological features of quantum systems by using functional analytic techniques coupled with geometric and algebraic ideas. In particular, I am interested in

• spectral and transport properties of periodic and non-periodic magnetic Schrödinger operators modelling topological insulators.

• Wannier functions and their generalization to non-periodic systems.

• Scattering theory.
