Reunion FAQs
REGISTRATION
When is registration and payment due?
-Registration is due 1/15/2024 and payment is due 5/15/2024.
Can I get a refund if I am no longer attending?
- Unfortunately no. We have to pay for vendors and location reservations up front, so we aren’t able to issue refunds. If you aren’t able to attend, we ask that you donate your registration to one of our elders.
Can I purchase a reunion t-shirt if I am not attending?
-Yes. Order online and pay shipping. Those attending the reunion will receive shirts at the reunion check in.
TRANSPORTATION
I am flying or taking the train, how will I get around once there?
-Please make arrangements with family in advance if you need assistance with travel. There is Groome Transportation that can bring you to Macon from Atlanta.
Macon does have an airport that may be available:---- Middle Georgia Regional.
-There will be a charter bus provided for 55 people to travel for Friday's tour of Macon.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Does my family have to stay in the Host Hotel?
- No, you are welcome to find alternate accommodations. Keep in mind that most of the activities will take place from or at the host hotel, and most of the family usually stays
When should I reserve my room?
- The deadline to receive the group rate is May 31, 2024. If you secure your registration after this date, you may have to pay a higher per night cost, and there is no guarantee our block (or any rooms) will still be available. Reserve now! A deposit is not required to reserve your room(s).
What are the hotel amenities included?
-Wi-Fi, outdoor pool, fitness center, free parking, pet friendly. Note: There is a restaurant on site. Breakfast in not included.
ACTIVITIES
What meals are part of registration fee?
Weds - Meet&Greet (provided by the hotel)
Friday - Snack Bag
Saturday - BBQ (provided by Vernon Boone-Caterer)
Sunday - Business Meeting Brunch (provided by the hotel)
Do I have to participate in everything with the family?
-You are more than welcome to enjoy your vacation any way you choose. We hope you will spend as much time at the daily family events and get to know one another.
