Narrative Designer & Writer
Defining the various personality traits for Pyl, the AI companion.
Writing in-game dialogues, ensuring tone consistency, design constraints, and creative vision alignment.
Converting game design elements (prompts, tutorials, UI descriptions) into coherent, immersive narrative content.
Establishing acting intents and voice direction guidelines for the voice acting team.
Coordinating with development teams and maintaining narrative documentation.
In this game, players will be playing as four prisoners sent by PylTech on a recovery mission. During their journey, their spaceship crashes on Ivarus, a desolate planet threatened by the imminent impact of an asteroid. A race against time then begins, where players must gather the resources required to repair their ship, all while uncovering the planet's mysteries and participating in real-life activities.
As a Narrative Designer and Writer on this collaboration between Skytale and Equinox Studio, I designed the character and narrative arc for Pyl, an AI assistant who guides players and gradually develops a distinct personality and attachment toward them.
I worked on her characterization and progression before writing all of her lines, from story dialogues to gameplay prompts and rules, all while ensuring consistency with the established tone.
