Creating a "capture the flag" map for Unreal Tournament with UT Editor. Once it was completed, I was able to test it and get some feedback so that I could iterate on it
For this map, my intention was to create two forteress linked by bridges, all set in an area similar to a hydroelectric dam, so rather dark, with water and rock. Several long straight corridors can be used by defenders to kill their opponents from afar, while attackers have multiple paths to reach the flag and escape with it.
I also wanted to add a bit of narrative with the level art, using the layout and the staging of the assets to create short stories.
