I am a classical saxophonist and composer currently completing my undergraduate studies at High Point University. My work centers on classical and contemporary repertoire that is inspired by narrative and expressive intent, with an emphasis on music that communicates a clear story to both performers and audiences.
As a performer, I value expression, musical storytelling, and collaboration. I am drawn to repertoire that balances technical precision with emotional depth, allowing musical ideas to unfold with purpose and clarity. Much of my experience has been shaped through solo performance, collaborative work with pianists and ensembles, and academic engagement with the music I perform.
In addition to performing, I compose music that reflects similar artistic values, often drawing on inspiration from storytelling and personal reflection. This perspective as both a performer and a composer informs my approach to interpretation and musical decision-making.
I am currently preparing for a professional career as a musician in a United States military band, where I hope to contribute at a high level of performance while continuing to grow as an artist.
