Hi! I am a 4th year PhD student at University of Virginia, where my advisor is Sara Maloni. I am interested in geometric topology, particularly topics related to hyperbolic geometry and geometric group theory.

My undergraduate was at University of Utah, where I received a bachelor's in mathematics with a minor in philosophy. At the U, my honors thesis, supervised by Josh Pollitz, was on homological algebra.

I am originally from Boise, Idaho. When I need to escape from math, I love exploring different genres of music from nu jazz to nu metal. I also like to read about world history and watch classic movies.
