Help Our Garden Grow!
Mason Elementary's Garden & Grounds Committee provides an opportunity for students, families and staff to be a part of caring for the school's garden and surrounding spaces. Students may engage in hands-on learning in the garden while at school or also have the option to participate with their families during the monthly garden events.
Mason's garden has 12 raised beds that change throughout the fall/spring/summer growing season as well as fruit trees, grapes, raspberries and blackberries. The goal of the Garden & Grounds Committee is for students and families to be a part of the school's community, provide outdoor educational opportunities for Mason's students, and cultivate a sense of pride in the students for the work they put into caring for Mason's outdoor spaces.
