Hotel Maskam is proudly owned by the 3rd Generation Vermeulen Family of Vredendal. It is currently run and managed by Francois Vermeulen (Jnr) and Staff. It was Built and Established In 1964 by Francois Nicholas Vermeulen. Since then, it has been constantly undergoing changes and improvements to make it an even better hotel in order to keep up with modern-day society's demands.

The Hotel provides accommodation for a wide range of customers, from the traveler to the average vacation family, to the business class. The Hotel takes pride in providing customers with great service, reasonable prices, and clean accommodation, simple principles which made the Hotel withstood the test of time.
