Masim Suleymanov is an Assistant Professor, Instruct, at the C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. After a five-year tenure in the corporate world, Masim embarked on an academic journey. He earned a Ph.D. in Finance from Florida Atlantic University, where he successfully defended his dissertation titled "Two Essays on Government Contracting and Venture Capital Investments" in May 2022. 

Masim has a comprehensive teaching background spans Principles of Financial Management, Investment Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions, and Cases in Financial Management courses. He is currently engaged in research projects studying various aspects of alternative investments, government-corporate contracting, and small business financing.
