Current Project:

The construction of Microgrids/Nanogrids in rural locations is a potential solution to address electrical energy infrastructure maintenance challenges. Depopulation trends and the heightened emergency situations brought on by pandemics have made these problems worse. The objective is to reconfigure energy provision networks to mitigate their influence on cultural and natural assets and minimize ground exploitation.

The project has been granted financial support from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, specifically under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 101034449.
