This organization shall be representative in form and in principles. It shall adhere strictly to the ideals, teachings and standards of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in the conduct of all its undertakings.
A. The MAS-AMiCUS believes that all decisions shall arrive at an independent manner; that the will of the majority shall always prevail without infringing on the right of the minority.
B. The MAS-AMiCUS believes in the principle of collective leadership as a means of effective governance.
C. The MAS-AMiCUS believes in the development of the total person under the SDA core values of spirit of faith, zeal for services and communion in mission.
D. The MAS-AMiCUS believes in the development of the individual student’s potential to effect change which can be achieved by advancing his/her rights and welfare.
E. The MAS-AMiCUS believes that all members should remain at all times faithful to the office he/she is serving and should not in any occasion allow partisan interest to prevail over office duties and functions.
F. The MAS-AMiCUS adheres to the legal principle of the “in loco parentis”. Herein, the school, its administrators and faculty shall have special parental authority and responsibility over students while under their supervision, instruction or custody provided religious rights is not trampled upon.
