Meeting Overview

The MARZ meeting brings together approximately 200 zebrafish researchers from across the Mid-Atlantic region, from Virginia to Cornell University. The meeting showcases zebrafish research in cell and developmental biology, cancer, genetics, regeneration, drug development, and other areas. 

The MARZ meeting serves as an important regional forum for trainees to present their work, receive feedback, network, and explore diverse career paths. We have many speaker slots reserved for graduate students and postdocs. Our goal is to promote dialogue and engagement within the zebrafish community by providing networking opportunities that foster connection and collaboration.

We welcome zebrafish scientists at all career levels to join us!
