You are invited to visit Morocco, Africa at Mary Armao McCarthy's book reading of Our Time in Morocco. She and her husband Kevin will share experiences on this fascinating country and their life on a secret military base during the Vietnam War years. Authentic Moroccan mint tea and Middle Eastern refreshments will be served.
A wonderfully beautiful book. Bringing memory and history together in writing as Mary does conveys a heightened sense of truth and meaning. The cover and illustrations are fine art. The vintage photos and archival images are a real treat for readers.
