Members who achieve the distinction of being an active member of NSGA earn a graduation cord!
Active Membership Guidelines:
Earn 10 points each semester and graduate with at least 40 points total
Grace period: Each student is allowed ONE "grace period" which is one semester where you may earn less than 10 points. However, you must earn the remaining points in addition to the required 10 points in any following semester to still earn the minimum required to graduate.
Points are awarded based on participation in NSGA sponsored events
Welcome back breakfast: 1 point
General body meetings: 2 points
Community Service Events: 2-4 points
Professional Networking: 4 points
Socials: 1-4 points
For any other NSGA-advertised or sponsored event, the officers reserve the right to assign points to events to promote and encourage participation.

Points are awarded to students who sign-in and stay to participate for the full duration of the event. Points are usually updated within a week of participating in an event, but please keep in mind that it takes time for our officers to award points to each student.
