What is the PTA?

Maryland Avenue PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a group of volunteer parents, grandparents, family members, teachers and staff who are working to make Maryland Avenue the best possible school for our students. Everybody is welcome and we are always looking for new volunteers to join the team! 

Together the PTA organizes community and school wide events, fundraisers and provides classrooms with supplies and supports. Becoming a member does not require volunteering for committees or events, though it's a great way to be involved. Joining the PTA does give you a voice and vote in how the PTA will support Maryland Avenue Elementary.
