Legal Linguistics

In Legal Linguistics, I focus on making legal language clearer and more comprehensible to the public. My projects include research on the Miranda warnings, where I analyze how well people (both native and non-native speakers) understand their legal rights.

Second Language Acquisition

My research in SLA examines the impact of various media forms, such as TV shows and music, on learning English. I investigate learners' receptive and productive knowledge of English, analyzing both their comprehension and usage, as well as other components contributing to their learning development.
