Mary Elizabeth Tisdale

In this Baltimore Sun article from October 01, 2012 we learn volunteers cleaning Leakin Park near the 4900 block of Franklintown Road found a severely decomposed body.  There was no obvious sign of trauma or foul play but according to a police spokeswoman that would not be unusual given the decomposition.  The body was taken to the medical examiner's office to determine the victim's identity and a cause of death.

On 10/05/2012 The Catonsville Patch reported Mary Tisdale, the woman who went missing from her assisted living facility last month, was found in Leakin Park.  She had died from exposure to the elements and hypothermia. On Sept. 25, Baltimore County police said Tisdale, 62, walked away from her residence and was quickly reported missing on Sept. 20. Tisdale suffered from dementia, according to a news release. She didn't tell anyone where she was going. "She suffers from medical conditions that may cause confusion, and she may not recall where she lives," the Sept. 25 release stated.
