About Us

Midnapur Marwari Sammelan was established in the year of 1988, by some intellectual and warm hearted people from the Marwari Community of Midnapore District, West Bengal.

This is a Non-Profit and social welfare organization which aims at providing emergency reliefs to the poor and the needy people. Midnapur Marwari Sammelan also had a roll to play in the COVID-19 Pandemic. It organized a huge meal distribution program recently for the needy people of Midnapore, More than 2500 people were distributed packaged meals in a single day on 11 of April, 2020 with all kinds of social distancing measures as instructed by our state and central government, with the help of local welfare clubs and people.

Midnapur Marwari Sammelan has started an initiative of offering free meals ( both lunch & dinner ) for the Families of Covid 19 effected patients since 16.05.21 everyday without miss untill lockdown persists.
