The main purpose of MOD function is to find the remainder. MOD function returns the remainder after the number is divided by the divisor.

To use MOD function, you can either start off with typing =MOD and press TAB or go to Formula tab and click on Insert Function. The following screen will be displayed.
Type MOD and click Go. The list of functions will be listed there. Choose MOD and click OK.
Fill in the number and divisor, click OK. There you go, that’s how you use MOD function.
