Hobbies

In my spare time I enjoy traveling, sailing, and taking long walks with my dog (a four-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Winston).  

A few years ago, my brother and I purchased an older wooden sailboat. A 33-foot Danish-built Bianca from 1967, built in Mahogany and Oak. 

While we bought the boat intending to sail it,  so far, almost all of our time has been spent restoring and repairing it! With new issues always popping up, like a hole in the hull that needs a plug, or old varnish that needs to be replaced, the prospects of sailing the boat anytime soon are not great. Currently, we are working on fixing the rudder...  

Update on the rudder: we managed to fix it—just in time to take the boat on land for the winter!
