I am a Ph.D candidate in Mathematics at the Universidade de São Paulo (ICMC-USP), campus São Carlos, SP-Brazil. My advisors are Victor H. Jorge Pérez and David A. Jorgensen. During the period from August 2025 to July 2026, I was visiting the University of Texas at Arlington, under the supervision of David A. Jorgensen.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) in 2021 and my Master's degree from the ICMC-USP in 2023. I expect to receive my Ph.D. degree next year.
My research interests are in homological commutative algebra. I am mainly interested in studying questions related to homological dimensions and the vanishing of Tor and Ext modules. I have been working with:
The derived functors Tor and Ext, and their vanishing;
Quasi-homological dimensions (i.e., quasi-projective and quasi-injective dimensions);
Depth formulas;
Finiteness criteria for classical homological dimensions of modules over commutative rings (pd, G-dim, CI-dim, and their injective counterparts);
