Hi! I am a Research Associate at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER).

I received my Ph.D. from the  Paris School of Economics and I was a visiting scholar at Harvard University.

My research explores the effects of migration on both origin and destination societies. I’m particularly interested in how migration shapes human capital, cultural values, and social cohesion—both through the movement of people and the diffusion of ideas. Much of my work draws on historical natural experiments and newly digitized data. I also use quasi-experimental and experimental methods, including randomized controlled trials, to analyze the effects of contemporary policies related to these themes.

I co-organize the LISER & University of Luxembourg's Visiting Program on Migration. You can find here short interviews with our guests and the program of past editions: 2024-25, 2023-24, 2022-23, 2021-2022

Research fields: Migration, Economic History, Political Economy, Culture.
