Hi! I'm a Research Associate at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER).
My research explores how migration shapes sending and receiving societies through the movement of people and the difussion of ideas - with a special focus on human capital, cultural values, and social cohesion. Much of my work draws on historical natural experiments and newly digitized data. I also use experimental methods (including RCTs) to evaluate contemporary migration policies.
I hold a PhD from the Paris School of Economics and was a visiting scholar at Harvard University. I co-organize the LISER & University of Luxembourg's Visiting Program on Migration. See interviews with our guests and past programs: 2024-25, 2023-24, 2022-23, 2021-2022.
Research fields: migration, economic history, political economy, culture.
