I am a postdoc working on quantum information in Valerio Scarani's group at the Centre for Qauntum technologies, National University of Singapore.
Before starting at NUS I did a PhD in physics and mathematics at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, with Anupam Mazumdar (VSI) and Roland van der Veen (BI).
A short (incomplete) list of my interests:
Table-top tests of gravity-induced entanglement
Decoherence and noise analysis in matter-wave interferometers
(gravitational) quantum sensing
Creation of spatial superpositions in nanoparticles
Fundaments/mathematical description of entanglement (witnessing)
Invariants of (singular) knots and their connection to quantum entanglement
Besides research, I enjoy being involved in science outreach events, teaching and organising seminars/events. In my spare time I have an interest in sports (running, swimming, squash, volleybal, F1, esports), reading, DIY and gaming.
