Short Bio 


Dr Luis Martin-Domingo is an Assistant Professor at Özyeğin University - Faculty of Aviation and an aviation-management researcher with 30 years of experience in the air-transport sector, including 15 years in airline and airport roles across Europe and China.

He holds a PhD in Air Transport and Tourism Management, an MSc in Air Transport Management, and a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering. Until August 2026, he was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow at Dublin City University, where he contributed to the Aviation Zero Emissions 2050 (AZERO) project on airline emissions, environmental performance indicators, and pathways towards net-zero aviation.

His teaching integrates Airline Management and Airline Business Simulation with flipped-classroom, blended-learning, and project-based approaches. His research focuses on sustainable aviation, airline strategy, passenger experience, accessibility, and technology-enabled innovation. He is committed to building meaningful links between industry, education, and international research collaboration.
