Nice to Meet You!
Nice to Meet You!
My friends call me Martin, and you’re welcomed to do the same.
Current affiliation
I’m doing my Ph.D. in mathematics under the supervision of Professor Victor Lie at Purdue University.
Personal interest
I started as a math and music enthusiast. To me, understanding the time-frequency phase portrait of a mathematical object has the same connotation as analyzing the score of a musical composition.
This realization led me to choose the path of time-frequency/wave-packet analysis, a subfield of harmonic analysis, to start my academic career.
I’m also interested in any other related fields of study. (e.g. P.D.E., geometric measure theory, ergodic theory, or even machine learning.)
