Martha plays a mixture of original and traditional material, usually performing to electronic backing which she creates herself, with a few acoustic songs in longer sets. She can tailor her set to suit any audience, whether that is a rowdy festival crowd needing upbeat dance music, a sit-down folk club audience wanting to hear tales of Cornish folklore, or anything in between! More recently, she has built up a new set for Nos Lowen dancing. The Nos Lowen is a contemporary Cornish tradition, similar to a ceilidh but more free-flowing, with simple dances (both traditional and new) that don't need a caller. Martha has performed at a wide range of venues across Cornwall, Newcastle and further afield, as well as appearing at numerous festivals (as a headline act at Cornwall Folk Festival, Lost Fest and Bodmin Heritage Festival and performing at Festival Interceltique de Lorient, Gate to Southwell Festival, Rock Oyster, Fisherman's Friends' Festival, St Ives Food Festival, Heligan Homecoming Festival, Lowender and Golowan).
