Click on the image to watch some the videos of actors performing different roles. Imagine you are one of these characters. Prepare a three- minute monologue in the first person talking about how you feel and what's happened to you. Use at least one phrase from the list. Remember to use grammar and vocabulary of the level.
Talk about the different forms of punishment shown in the pictures below (prison sentence, community service, death penalty). Give you view on which ones are more effective and explain whether some of them should be abolished. Is it better to try to reform criminals or to punish them? Why?

What kind of punishment would be most appropriate for teenagers who commit the crimes shown in the pictures below (car theft, pickpocketing, hacking)? What should be the minimum age for serving a prison sentence? Is “alternative” punishment more effective when the offenders are minors? Why/not?

Find a newspaper article or a video that will help you prepare it. Something with interesting information and specific vocabulary.
Upload your monologue to Flipgrid (I'll open the Grid soon). Don't forget to put a link to the article or video you have used when you do this. Flipgrid allows you to do so.
Try not to repeat monologue. This way, everybody will have models to prepare the exam.
