Marta Bonioli

Hi,

I am a second-year PhD Student in Economics at the University of Verona.

I am also a research fellow at the University of Verona. My project is about "Consumer perception and preferences for 'smart' labels in the circular economy" as part of the project "Interconnected North-East Innovation Ecosystem (iNEST)" "4. Digital, Industry, Aerospace"—NextGenerationEU.

My research interests focus on consumer analysis within the agri-food sector, specifically understanding consumer perceptions of new packaging and labelling technologies such as Smart Label to promote a circular economy. This work reduces food waste, enhances traceability, increases quality, and improves safety. Additionally, I study consumer perception and acceptance of upcycled foods and other products with upcycled ingredients, further contributing to food waste reduction.
