Marston Community Players

We are a shiny new community theatre group in Marston!  Our very first show was in April 2023 when we produced a pantomime called 'A Marston Ferry Tail'.  It was a great success, attended by 150 residents from Marston (old and new!), who were very impressed with the local talent.  And there must be more talent out there, just waiting to be involved.

Another triumph was achieved with our second pantomime 'Dick Watlington comes to Oxford'!  The two shows were a sell-out (sorry if you couldn't get a ticket!) and we even offered residents of our local care home a free show on the Saturday afternoon.

Last autumn, we put on a play called 'Nine Heads and Eight Tales', which was a series of funny and poignant short sketches about...well, life! The performances were a great success!

The most recent success was our Spring 2025 production called 'Sleeping Beauty Woke'. We all had so much fun both practicing and performing and would like to thank the community and everyone involved for making our show so special!
