We have invited guest speakers to share their experiences in politics with our club members in the past and will continue these guest speaking events. Past guest speakers have included Walter Alcorn who now serves on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.

NOVA and DC are constantly at the center of political events and we try our best to invite and organize attendance to these events that would be of interest to Marshall Young Dems. Past examples have included attending town halls, and political dinners or galas.

GCM Young Dems recently joined in with Generation Ratify to lobby in the US Senate in favor of SJ Resolution 6 which would extend the deadline on the E.R.A. Read more about it in the Huffington Post article about us here.
