For your first violin lesson, you'll need your instrument, a correct sized shoulder rest and a 3 ring binder for your worksheets for home practice please have a music stand, and metronome. ALL STUDENTS are required to have a 3 ring binder for all the worksheets + Music they will be given in class. Tab dividers are a must to keep your binder in order! A pre-made music binder can be purchased below with music handouts already inserted specific to the material we will cover in class

Are you ready to own your instrument? While there are many online sources to purchase instruments: purchasing a quality violin or viola can make a huge difference in technique and sound - For students 14yo + to adult a full size 4/4 is recommend. For younger students sizing can be done at a music store or in class. rental options are available at music & arts stores or through my private studio during your first music lesson

WHAT SIZE WILL I NEED?
For children, consider a fractional size violin (e.g., 1/2, 3/4 size) if they are small and working with a larger size is not yet comfortable
