I knew it wouldn't be easy, and that it would take a lot of work and risk. But I wanted to be a business owner because I was tired of working for someone else. I wanted to be my own boss and work with my wife and partner and best friend.
15) Hot Oven Cookies - Our Business, Our Baby
This business is our baby.
I am still heavily invested in hot oven cookies.
I still want to contribute to the success of our business.
I can still contribute.
I am a valuable part of the business.
I feel like there is a future financial reward for my investment and risk that would be deserved but not entitled.
I do love our business.
And I am very proud of what we have accomplished.
Big things are ahead of us for our business.
It breaks my heart to lose our business.
This business of ours; that we built together, that we took the Ludacris risk back in 2015 when we both had nothing.
I was crazy enough to believe in you, risk everything, and live in your son's ghetto basement for a year, all to build this business of ours.
I’m broken by the thought of leaving my jobs as a logistics guy and counter guy.
But I see no way of continuing to work together.
