Mar Narsai Malpana - Assyrian Language School
Mar Narsai Malpana is created for native and non-native speakers of the Assyrian language from ages five and up. Speaking, writing and reading is not required and will be taught at Mar Narsai Malpana. Student initiation begins with learning the Assyrian alphabet and progresses to basic reading and writing, grammar and conversational speaking. Students can continue their education to advance levels of reading, and writing Assyrian.
Nine classes are offered ranging from Pre-School, Kindergarten and 1st to 5th. Upon completion of the school year, students will graduate and receive a certificate of achievement.

As the Principal and a parent of students at Mar Narsai Malpana, I am thrilled to see familiar faces returning and new ones joining our wonderful community. I hope you and your families had a restful and rejuvenating summer and are ready for an enriching academic journey.
First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude to all our dedicated teachers, staff, and volunteers. Your unwavering commitment to our student's education and well-being is commendable, forming the foundation of our school's success.
Preserving our Assyrian language is fundamental to upholding our identity. Nurturing the Assyrian heritage in our children should begin from a young age. As our deeply respected late Patriarch, Mar Dinkha IV, emphasized repeatedly,
"As a living Nation, the members of every Assyrian family should speak the Assyrian language, wherever they are."
Therefore, it is our responsibility to converse with our children in Assyrian and pass on our cherished traditional values. Mar Narsai Malpana takes immense pride in our dedication to providing the invaluable service of teaching our beautiful language.
Parents, your involvement and support are crucial to your child's success. We greatly appreciate your partnership in your child's education.
