🐶 Our Puppy Picking Process

We want every family to be confident and excited about their new companion. At Marlen’s Poodles & Doodles, we use a structured and thoughtful puppy picking process to ensure the best match for both puppy and family.

📌 Step 1: Join the Waitlist (fill out puppy application)

• To reserve a spot in line, we require a non-refundable deposit (amount and details provided upon inquiry).

• Pick order is determined by the date deposits are received.

💰 Deposit & Waitlist Policy

• Deposits are transferable to up to 2 future litters if the specific puppy you want isn’t available from the current litter.

• Your waitlist deposit remains valid for 2 years, giving you plenty of time to find the perfect puppy.

• Deposits are non-refundable but fully transferable within the time frame and conditions above.

We want to make sure you get the best match, even if it means waiting for the right puppy to come along!

🐾 Step 2: Watch Them Grow

• Once puppies are born, families on the waitlist receive regular updates with photos, videos, and milestones.

• This helps you get to know the litter as they grow and develop.

🎯 Step 3: Temperament Evaluations

• Around 6–7 weeks of age, we evaluate each puppy's temperament and personality.

• This ensures we help guide families to the best possible match for their lifestyle and goals.

🐕 Step 4: Puppy Picking Day

• Families pick in deposit order around 7–8 weeks of age (after evaluations).

• Picks can be made in person or via video call, depending on your location.

🏠 Step 5: Go-Home Day!

• Puppies go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age (or later, if needed).

• You'll receive a go-home kit and all necessary paperwork.
