Inclusion Warm Line

CocoKids offers a Warm Line for families and providers to call when they have questions about child development or supporting children with disabilities, delays, or other specials needs. We support children of all ages in early childhood settings, school-age settings, before and afterschool programs, and at home. Our services are FREE!

Do you have concerns or questions about your child’s development or behavior? Has someone recently told you that your child may have a delay or is displaying some “red flags?” Do you want more information about next steps to support your child and family? We can offer guidance, provide resources, and support you in getting started with a referral for assessment through local community resources.

All children develop differently and at their own pace, so it is important to keep that in mind. However, when a child’s developmental needs are impacting their ability to function optimally in the school or home environment, this may mean they need some additional support. Sometimes these needs can present themselves through challenging behaviors. When we think about behavior as a form of communication, we must ask ourselves, “What is this child trying to tell me?” and “How can I support this child’s needs?”
