Read resources made by our own gardeners!
Rooted and the Gardens Network is Marlborough Garden's partner in keeping the community garden running. Check out their educational offerings here.
The Extension office has a wealth of information available on all sorts of gardening topics, and they're all prepared with the midwest weather in mind. They even have services like insect identification and plant disease diagnostics.
Prefer to learn through YouTube? MIGardener is a company based out of Michigan (so they feel the pain of winter in the north!) that produces educational YouTube videos about all aspects of gardening. They also sell fairly inexpensive seeds.
Did you know that the garden has equipment to share? There are shovels, forks, and hoes in the sheds, in addition to lawn mowers and the like. Sometimes the garden will even get plant or tuber donations, which are generally left on the picnic table and announced on the Facebook page.
