If you want durable, waterproof bone conduction headphones for intense swimming and open-water sports, choose MARLALL Soft Liquid Silicone; if you need a weighted, light-blocking sleep mask with Bluetooth audio for side sleeping and deep relaxation, choose LC-dolida Sleep Mask.
These two products solve entirely different problems, yet they both aim to deliver high-quality audio while protecting your ears from external interference. The MARLALL unit is built as a rugged tool for the water, prioritizing an IPX8 seal and secure fit over general versatility. The LC-dolida option is engineered specifically for the bedroom, focusing on pressure relief, total darkness, and long battery life for overnight use. You are not choosing between two similar items; you are choosing between a swim companion and a sleep sanctuary.
• MARLALL Soft Liquid Silicone: Its biggest strength is the IPX8 waterproof rating and skin-friendly liquid silicone build that withstands full submersion; its trade-off is that it functions in MP3 mode only underwater and lacks a microphone optimized for calls after wetting. This pick is for swimmers and water athletes who need secure, hands-free music without earbuds falling out.
• LC-dolida Sleep Mask: Its biggest strength is the 3D contour design with weighted beads that block 99% of light and relieve eye pressure; its trade-off is that it is a soft textile product unsuitable for any wet environments or active sports. This pick is for insomniacs, travelers, and side sleepers who need to block out light and noise to fall asleep faster.
The MARLALL Soft Liquid Silicone Bone Conduction Headphones are designed with a singular, aggressive purpose: keeping you connected to your playlist while you are submerged. This means the device can be fully immersed in water without sustaining damage. For anyone who swims laps, practices snorkeling, or engages in surfing, this level of protection is non-negotiable. Standard electronics fail immediately under such conditions, but this unit is sealed to handle the pressure and immersion of aquatic activities.
Comfort in this category is defined by material and weight. The product uses an ultra-soft overmold liquid silicone that is described as skin-friendly. At just 22.68 grams, it is exceptionally lightweight. When you are moving through water, every extra gram feels heavier due to buoyancy and drag. The ergonomic ear-hook design distributes pressure evenly, ensuring the device does not slip or shift during vigorous movement. This is critical for safety; if your headphones fall out while you are in the ocean, you lose your audio cue and potentially your sense of direction. The open-ear design ensures you remain aware of your surroundings, which is a vital safety feature when you are alone in open water.
However, there are specific constraints you must understand before buying. The device operates in MP3 mode only when underwater. While it supports Bluetooth connectivity for dry land use, the underwater experience requires you to load playlists directly onto the internal 32G storage via a magnetic charging cable. You cannot stream music from your phone app while submerged. Additionally, while the microphone is present, the manufacturer notes that you should dry it thoroughly after swimming to prevent call issues. If your primary goal is to take work calls while treading water, this might not be the ideal solution. It is a dedicated swim tool, not a multi-purpose headset for every environment.

The LC-dolida Sleep Mask targets a completely different user base: those struggling with light sensitivity, side-sleeping discomfort, or insomnia. The core innovation here is the combination of a sleep mask, weighted comfort, and wireless audio. The "Weighted" aspect is significant; the inclusion of 4.2oz of beads provides just enough pressure to relax the nerves and fatigue around the eyes. This is not just a blindfold; it is a therapeutic tool designed to signal to your body that it is time to rest. The slight weight helps create a sense of grounding that many people find essential for drifting off to sleep quickly.
For side sleepers, traditional masks often dig into the cheek or press against the ear, causing pain and waking you up. LC-dolida addresses this with a 3D contoured design. This architecture allows your eyes to move freely without the fabric touching them, eliminating the pressure point that usually ruins a good night's sleep. The memory foam material features a soft, breathable construction that maintains this shape throughout the night. Furthermore, the mask blocks 99% of light, creating a pitch-black environment even in bright hotel rooms or during summer mornings. This level of light isolation is crucial for maintaining circadian rhythms and ensuring deep REM sleep.
The audio component is integrated seamlessly into the headband using Bluetooth 5.4 technology. This version offers fast pairing and stable connections, ensuring you don't have to fiddle with settings before bed. The battery life is substantial, offering 10 to 13 hours of service time, which covers a full night's sleep plus a nap. However, this is a soft, textile-based product. It relies on memory foam and fabric, meaning it cannot get wet. If you drop it in a sink or try to wear it in the shower, it will be ruined. It is strictly a bedroom accessory for relaxation, meditation, and travel naps where you need total darkness and silence (or soothing music) without any physical bulk pressing on your face.

• Best for light blocking → LC-dolida Sleep Mask: It blocks 99% of light with its unique nose-fitted design; MARLALL offers no light-blocking capability.
• Best for active outdoor safety → MARLALL Soft Liquid Silicone: The open-ear design keeps you aware of traffic or nature sounds while running or hiking.
• Best for battery longevity → LC-dolida Sleep Mask: It offers 10–13 hours of playback, whereas MARLALL provides up to 7 hours.
• Best for portability in travel → LC-dolida Sleep Mask: Its compact, foldable nature makes it easier to pack in a carry-on than the rigid hook-style swim headphones.
• Best for music loading flexibility → MARLALL Soft Liquid Silicone: It has 32G of internal storage for offline playlists, allowing you to leave your phone behind during workouts.
• Best for thermal comfort in heat → MARLALL Soft Liquid Silicone: The liquid silicone and open design allow airflow, while the foam in the LC-dolida mask may feel warmer in hot weather.
I would buy the LC-dolida Sleep Mask if my primary goal was improving my nightly rest, especially if I am a side sleeper who struggles with light or ear pain. The combination of weighted pressure relief and the 3D eye design solves the most common complaints about sleep masks. However, if I were looking for the best comfortable bone conduction headphones for macbook users who also happen to swim, or simply needed rechargeable bluetooth headphones for macbook for a workout routine involving water, the MARLALL Soft Liquid Silicone is the superior choice. In my opinion, the MARLALL unit is a specialized piece of athletic gear, while the LC-dolida is a lifestyle upgrade for better sleep hygiene. If you are looking for best usb c charging bluetooth headphones for macbook specifically for desk work, neither is the perfect fit, but the LC-dolida offers a more versatile audio experience for stationary use. Ultimately, I recommend the LC-dolida for anyone prioritizing sleep quality and the MARLALL for anyone prioritizing aquatic performance.
