Markus Freight is your average 17-year-old rebellious teen, known for tearing around in his beloved blue sports car, "KILLA QUEEN". He's completely obsessed with it, spending most of his free time driving, modifying, or maintaining it.
Despite his confidence behind the wheel, Markus is honestly a terrible driver. Whenever someone points it out, he'll brush it off with excuses like, "I was drifting," "It's called style," or "I'm practicing for racing."
He moved… well, more accurately, ran away from his home county to Pineridge. It's a subject he refuses to talk about, and anyone who presses him quickly learns to drop it.
On the surface, Markus comes across as carefree, energetic, and always looking for a good time. Beneath that attitude, however, he carries painful memories and secrets that he works hard to keep hidden from everyone around him.
Markus keeps his circle small, sticking close to two friends: Caelen and Vin Ainsworth. He constantly teases Vin, calling him nicknames like "Dead-Head" or "Dead Boy Walking." It's become such a regular thing that most people barely react anymore.
Almost everyone who knows them insists that Markus and Vin flirt with each other. Both of them deny it every single time… usually a little too quickly… but their constant banter, playful insults, and the amount of time they spend together certainly doesn't help their case.
