Terms and Conditions (2025 V1.6)
Lessons are delivered on the understanding that you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Lessons must be paid for in advance.
2. Standard lessons are two hours long and charged at as follows:

Note: The above driving lesson rates come into effect on 15/11/2025
3. The time/date of any booked lesson can be changed/cancelled, subject to 48 hours’ notice. Thereafter the lesson is chargeable at your current rate.
4. This clause has been removed. (It covered Covid precautions)
5. On average, it takes people 45 hours of driving lessons with a driving instructor and 22 hours of practice with family or friends to learn to drive. Source: HM Government Ready to Pass campaign.
I reserve the right not to make my car available for your test if, in my professional judgement, you have not reached the required standard.

7. I will make every effort to arrive at the agreed lesson start time, but the start time may vary slightly due to traffic and other circumstances. I reserve the right to amend driving lessons if I am unable to keep the appointment in the event of pre-booked driving tests, mechanical breakdown, sickness, pre-booked holidays or due to immovable traffic or other circumstances beyond my control.
8. Your responsibilities:
Your driving licence must be produced on your first appointment.
If you hold an older style paper driving licence, a valid passport must also be produced as photographic identification.
If you hold an EU, EEA or International driving licence, this must be produced on your first appointment.
You must wear glasses or contact lenses (as prescribed) every time you drive if you need them to meet the ‘standards of vision for driving’.
You must notify me of any changes to your ability or entitlement to have driving lessons, for example if your licence has been revoked or for medical reasons.
You must present yourself in a suitable condition for a driving lesson. If upon arrival for your lesson, I consider that you are unfit to undertake the booked lesson and / or practical test due to your eyesight or through misuse of drink or drugs, then I have the right to cancel the lesson, and you will be liable for the payment in full.
NOTE: Prices are subject to change. Prices are usually reviewed annually in November.
