Welcome to my site! I am a researcher in the Human Services unit at Mathematica, where I collaborate on quantitative evaluations and evidence reviews for education, job training, early childhood and family support interventions. My methodologic interests include publication bias and the reproducibility of evidence, algorithmic bias in risk prediction models, suboptimality in sampling designs and causal inference. I seek to improve the quality of evidence used to inform clinical decision making and health policy. Hailing from vibrant Trinidad and Tobago, I moved to the U.S.A. in 2008 to pursue a double major in Biology and Sociology at Columbia University, after which I earned a masters in Biostatistics from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. It has been an adventure that I cherish each day!
