We can make changes to the eligibility requirements, the Benefits, and the terms of the reward scheme at any time if we believe, in our reasonable discretion, that the change is to your benefit, or is required for the continuing administration of the reward scheme. Material changes will be communicated to you via the M&S app, SMS, email or postal communication where we have been provided with contact details by you. In the event that you are no longer eligible for the reward scheme as a result of changes made to the eligibility requirements, your account will be terminated following two months' notice of the changes. The preceding sentence will only apply where you become ineligible for the reward scheme in its entirety due to changes made to the eligibility requirements.

We reserve the right to withdraw or cancel the reward scheme at any time giving customers two months' notice of termination in writing (via email or postal communications). Termination or withdrawal of the reward scheme, as well as changes to the eligibility requirements that mean you are no longer eligible for the reward scheme, will also result in withdrawal or cancellation of any linked Sparks Pay. These terms are correct as of April 2022, and may be updated from time to time by M&S. Current terms are available at marksandspencer.com.

The new scheme will be hosted through an updated M&S App with all features of the relaunched scheme fully integrated online. New members can simply download their Sparks card via the App straight to their phone or stored to their M&S online account (visual below) and start shopping straight away to be in with a chance of an instant reward - either in store or online. Physical cards will also continue to be available, but the best and most personal experience of the relaunched Sparks scheme will be available through the App and on marksandspencer.com.

Why has there been no real fuss over M & S's pointless loyalty card? I have 55,000+ sparks. I've given up looking for the offers as there are rarely any I really want to use - and I'd end up just buying stuff for the sake of the discounts. Added to that, all the responsibility for taking up the offers is passed back to the customer. In fact, the whole sparks thing just makes me annoyed. I wonder what the take up actually is.

There was a thread once about this, I think. I agree that it is more trouble than it is worth. I was buying bed linen last week and the assistant at the till said I was due a discount because of my sparks card but had to activate it online. Who knew? She did sort it out for me though and I got 20% off. When I do look online, I am not squally interested in any of the offers so I don't check regularly.

I have written and complained to M and S about their useless Sparks Card. Heard nothing back.

One of the assistants told me they were having a meeting where the topic of Sparks Cards would come up. I told her what I thought about them and she was not at all surprised.

I think they will fade away.

I hear you can't get a free Loyalty coffee anymore more now they have sparks.

With their 10 sparks per pound conversion rate, their 3,000 and 5,000 spark tiers are achieved at 300 and 500 respectively. While this might seem high, think about how much you spend on groceries per month. It would take only a couple large purchases, not to mention all the other clothing and home items you could buy there!

To make this experience a valuable part of the Sparks program, Marks and Spencer gives members 50 sparks every time they shwop, making it the most valuable earning action in the Sparks rewards program. On top of that, every time Sparks members make a purchase, M&S makes a very small donation of 1p (roughly 1 cent) to charity. Even though this is a small gesture, knowing M&S processes tens of thousands of transactions per day illuminates how these small actions can really add up!

You can now connect your Sparks account with your M&S Credit Card account, so you can view and use your Rewards vouchers and Bonus Offers in your Sparks account at marksandspencer.com or in the M&S app.

There are a couple of ways to update the address on your SPARKS card. You can call their customer care team directly calling M&S on 0333 014 8000. You can also drop them an email at: retailcustomer.services@customersupport.marksandspencer.com

Absolute rubbish, M and S are doing themselves no favours. Instead of encouraging people to spend they have put people off from spending. Agree with previous comment just give us the normal sparks offers. Very disappointed M and S.
