Marko Kristian "Markoolio" Lehtosalo (born 1 January 1975 in Lahti, Finland) is a Swedish-Finnish singer, musician, songwriter, actor, and comedian. His stage name Markoolio is a portmanteau of his first name Marko and the stage name of the American rapper Coolio.

He grows up watching music videos onMTVand one day he has the idea of performing the songs in Sign Language. FinnishMarko Vuoriheimo, known as Signmark, was the first Deaf person in the world tosign a contract with an international music company, Warner Music.

So I get asked daily to listen to beats and songs and send feedback. Now it's possible. Email me 1-3 beats ahead of time and we'll jump on a phone and go thru them or build about anything music related. Look forward to building soon with some of y'all. Marco

A self-proclaimed "hip-hop fan," Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., has never hidden his love of music, and in an interview with GQ Magazine, he talked bout his respect for the lyrics of Eminem and revealed his top three favorite rap songs - "Straight Outta Compton" by N.W.A., "Killuminati" by Tupac, and Eminem's "Lose Yourself."

But when it comes to Miami-born rapper Pitbull, who Rubio has often mentioned in interviews as one of his favorite artists, the Florida senator doesn't think Pitbull's music has the same level of depth as Eminem's songs.

"His songs are all party songs. There's no message for him, compared to, like, an Eminem. But look, there's always been a role for that in American music. There's always been a party person, but he's a young guy. You know, maybe as he gets older, he'll reflect in his music more as time goes on. I mean, he's not Tupac. He's not gonna be writing poetry," Rubio said.

Every Serbian kid goes to school for engineering or business, and I went to school for English. Of course, deejaying is not English class, but they share something similar: they're very open-ended. Something that's different from that 9-5, or if you're doing business or engineering, 9-12 and beyond. When I started deejaying, it wasn't meant to be my career path. But throwing up a string of 5 songs that people lose their minds to, especially if they're songs that people maybe aren't familiar with, is priceless.

The reason I love film so much is because it encompasses some of the greatest mediums in art. Wes Anderson plays the most unexpected soundclips with unlikely framing and aesthetics. I think that he lacks soul in a lot of ways though...he's style over substances a lot of the time. In the Mood for Love is the best ever multi-sensual experience I've ever had. A two-hour moving painting accompanied by the most incredible music. I love the use of Cranberries' "California Dreamin'" in Chungking Express. I love Wong Kar Wai's use of song motifs. You feel for the characters through the songs and the lyrics.

"Axolotl" offers an equally good example of how Pagano doesn't just take inspiration from young people, but actually works with them to write songs. He credits middle schoolers in St. Louis Public Schools' Springboard to Learning program as co-writers on the track.

When I first started making music, I was in love with Billie Holiday, Chet Baker, and Louis Armstrong. I'm talking about when I was seven years old. My parents were showing me all kinds of music, like world music and jazz, and I gravitated towards Billie and Chet specifically. That's kind of how I started digging into learning English. It was through music, through thinking 'What the hell are they saying?' So I really kept up my English because of jazz. From there I evolved, when I became a teenager, into liking disco-funk. I was in a band with seven boys called The Santo Domingo Funk Crew, which was so much fun and all of them were hot and I was in love with all of them. Anyway, I dabbled with that and then pop, and I think disco-funk and disco will always be a part of me. The music that I've done before these last few singles that I've put out has been very electronic and drum-driven. I have an album coming next year that is way softer; it's about love, which I haven't written about in years. I've been writing about self-assertion, being strong, and protest music. Never about a boy. So these last few singles, I started talking about love, sex, desire, being afraid of being in a relationship. The last single that I put out with Empress Of, called 'Vaco,' is about that fear you have right before something starts because you're putting all of your vulnerability on the table and it feels really uncomfortable, but then you take the plunge and you're in a relationship. I've done all of this music that has nothing to do with love, and all of a sudden I fell in love and I'm writing songs about love.

LANY's exploration of ballad love songs delves into themes of heartbreak and loss, with Paul viewing vulnerability as a powerful means to help people feel less alone. Despite his lowkey approach, Paul graciously accepts photos and greetings from fans, recognizing them as genuine expressions of appreciation for his music. ff782bc1db
