Welcome To My E-Portfolio

The Harbor School is an amazing school to go to. Even though I have to get up early every morning and it is a two hour commute to get to school I would say it is worth it. The teachers are extremely friendly and understand that you are human too. They also have a plethora of afterschool activities so it's very easy to get situated into a community. Even if something you want isn't already a club, the staff are more than welcome to have you start a club. I am currently a member of the the ironworking club, Harbor S.E.A.L.s, Dungeons and Dragons, Magic The Gathering, Harbor Corps, and am attempting to get into rowing. I would definitely say this is the best school I've ever been to.

Career and Technical Education classes are so helpful for learning real world jobs. These are classes teach you skills you might need for a profession. I am in the Marine Biology Research Program (M.B.R.P.) where we learn how to take care of organisms, monitor water conditions, and run chemical experiments to see what's in the water. Our teacher is Mauricio Gonzalez and he truly cares for all of his students futures. It's because of this that we also learn career and financial management so we are prepared for when we go get a job.

My personal life is both good and bad at the same. The good parts of my life is that a have a group of true friends that know care about me. I often use my free time to game with friends or apply to jobs so I can start making money early. I don't live close to my friends so I don't got out to hang out with them often but when I can I do. However, with any amount of good there are always their drawbacks. I'm currently experiencing challenges when it comes to my familial ties and living situation. There are measures being taken to fix both so hopefully these problems don't persist for much longer.
