I'm working on a computer program which finds canonical decompositions of hyperbolic 3-orbifolds. Here's my GitHub. The program will help with another project, joint with my advisor and his other students, in which we're making a census of low-volume orbifolds in the commensurability class of the figure eight knot complement. Preprints should be coming soon.
I did two research projects as an undergraduate, both supervised by William Cherry. The first was also with Heather Olney and resulted in a paper published in Involve: https://msp.org/involve/2015/8-4/involve-v8-n4-p12-p.pdf. The second was my undergraduate thesis, which has been submitted and is still in the refereeing/revision process. The current version can be found here. Both projects were about geometric inequalities in complex vector spaces, with original motivation coming from Cherry's work in complex analysis. Surprisingly, the topic of the second paper is related to an old geometry problem called the Tammes problem.
