These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of MarketScout: App Ideas AI (“MarketScout,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use MarketScout.

1. Description of the App

MarketScout is an app market research tool that helps users discover and analyze potential App Store opportunities. It provides search results, opportunity signals, public metadata analysis, sampled public review analysis, AI-generated research reports, country comparison, saved projects, and PDF export features.

MarketScout is intended for informational and research purposes only.

2. No Guarantee of Success

MarketScout does not guarantee:

- App idea success

- Revenue

- Downloads

- App Store ranking

- Market demand

- Investment outcomes

- Business performance

Opportunity Score, Review Mining, Market Map, Country Comparison, and AI Opportunity Reports are research aids based on available public data and AI-generated analysis. You are responsible for independently validating any idea before building or investing in it.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MarketScout. If you use MarketScout on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

4. Free Plan

MarketScout may offer a Free plan with limited functionality, including:

- 5 searches per day

- 10 results per search

- 1 project

- 5 saved apps

- 3 Review Mining credits total

- Basic Market Map

- No PDF export

Free plan limits may change over time.

5. MarketScout Pro Subscription

MarketScout Pro unlocks additional features, including:

- Unlimited searches

- Full search results

- Advanced filters

- Full Market Map

- Country Comparison

- Unlimited projects

- Review Mining

- GPT Opportunity Reports

- PDF export

- Saved reports

Available subscription options may include:

- Weekly subscription

- Monthly subscription

- Yearly subscription

Prices are displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by region.

6. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through Apple In-App Purchase.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit:

8. Restore Purchases

If you purchased MarketScout Pro and features are locked, use the “Restore Purchases” button in the app. You must be signed in with the same Apple ID used for purchase.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

- Use MarketScout for illegal purposes

- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or abuse the app or backend

- Interfere with app functionality or server infrastructure

- Use automated scraping or excessive requests

- Misrepresent AI-generated research as guaranteed facts

- Violate third-party rights or applicable laws

10. Public App Store Data

MarketScout uses publicly available App Store metadata and public review samples. App Store content may change, become unavailable, or vary by country. We do not own third-party app metadata or reviews.

11. AI-Generated Content

MarketScout may use AI services to generate review analysis and opportunity reports. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or based on limited sampled data.

You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and interpreting AI output before relying on it.

12. Third-Party Services

MarketScout may use external services, including:

- Apple iTunes Search and Lookup APIs

- Apple RSS Customer Reviews endpoint

- OpenAI API

- Vercel-hosted backend services

- Apple In-App Purchase / StoreKit / PurchaseKit

Your use of MarketScout may involve these services according to their own terms and policies.

13. Local Data and Projects

Projects, saved apps, notes, cached reports, and cached review analyses may be stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, local data may be deleted.

14. Intellectual Property

MarketScout, including its design, branding, features, code, and original content, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from MarketScout without permission.

Third-party app names, icons, descriptions, ratings, reviews, and related metadata belong to their respective owners.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

MarketScout is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or suitable for your specific business purpose.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business losses arising from your use of MarketScout.

17. Changes to the App

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update Free and Pro feature limits over time.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the app.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
